I just want to wear a tulle skirt one day and feel like Carrie Bradshaw. She’ll forever live on in our hearts for being the woman who knows how to wear the hell out of a tulle.
Tulle (pronounced “tool”) is a very lightweight, sheer woven mesh fabric, generally nylon or polyester. It is used in a single layer to create bridal veils and in many layers to construct skirts that are opaque and stiff enough to stand away from the body. A tulle skirt is the perfect way to do daytime glam, where sweeping floor-length version shows that it’s a stunning choice for evening wear, too. An embellished top makes the look all your own — aka you won’t run into anyone in the same gown — and a sleek up do feels even more dressed up.

Who would not feel like a princess in a skirt that you can swing around the dance floor feeling like a kid a again.
Let your tulle skirt take you anywhere. High heels and a fitted jersey/ cotton top. Some long beads and your done. Ready to take on the night with the girls. I can feel it already fluffing myself up all night flicking the hair back. Out after a hard weeks work at Tara’s Designer Exchange.
Make tulle edgy with a leather jacket and graphic t shirt, Go vintage with accessories like cat-eye sunglasses which are in stock at Tara’s in Naas. Get some street-style cred with a beanie and chunky shoes.
I’ve tried them with the high heels and the skinny tops or the layered look. It just did not suit my style so much as I am more of the casual urban look. But I’m not giving up on them! I have all colours and lengths coming through the door all the time and I love the look of them. Carrie from Sex in the city made it look so easy and fun! That was the start of the tulle’s for me. So I’m going with the fitted leather jacket look or the chunky jumper, teamed with some doc martins.
